I posted an update on my stories, but then I deleted it because everything I have to say feels off and wrong and awkward lately. The grief and shock have given way to a numb fog. I feel like an alien cosplaying as a human. Being perceived feels weird right now, but I have to get back to work eventually, so I’m ripping the bandaid off. 🖤

I’m going to keep it simple and say yes, I’m doing okay, all things considered. But I don’t feel quite like my vibrant self right now. And that’s okay—I’m healing. And I’m finding gratitude in the little things. Like this beautiful limited edition of These Wicked Lies.
